What inspectors look at
In a food business, pests are among the items checked during a food safety inspection. Beyond the insects or rodents themselves, inspectors look for signs: droppings in storage, chewed packaging, unprotected openings, goods stored directly on the floor. An up-to-date log shows what was observed, what was done and when. It doesn’t replace a clean facility, but it shows that monitoring is in place.
